This is my 1970 Road Runner 1 of 6,888 built
by Chrysler. It is optioned with a 383 (335hp)and 727 automatic, and is finished in
EW1 Alpine white exterior with an Air Grabber hood. Black stripes
on the hood, and black decal stripes over the taillight panel add
to the contrast. It doesn't stop there, the interior is B-5 blue,
and it has a black vinyl top and gold dust trails from nose to side scoops!
It was featured in MOPAR Collectors Guide October 1996 issue, the title
of the article is Yard Bird.
I purchased the car in July, 1998 at Chryslers at Carlisle from Steve
Edgerton. However, the credit for restification and hard work goes
to Mopar fanatic John Risola of Hanover, NJ. The restoration was
compleated in just over four years.
